\Utopia Kitchen Pre-Seasoned Cast-Iron Skillet, 10.25 inch
This is great quality cast iron skillet. I love how Utopia has taken the time for their customers to pre-season the skillet so it is ready to use right out of packaging.
The skillet is a good thickness and I like how they added the holder on the other side of the handle. This helps to hold it when you are carrying the pan. I love to eat cornbread that is baked in a cast iron skillet, maybe it is me but it just tastes so much better than a regular pan. So I was excited when I saw a promotion going on where I can purchase this for discounted price in exchange of an unbiased honest review, I jumped on the opportunity.I immediately preheated my oven to 350 and started my cornbread recipe.
I do the sweet cornbread so their is sugar. It did great did not stick to the cast iron except at the bottom. Which I do not know one that wont. But clean up was easy just under hot water with a brush and came right out.
This is the 3rd cast iron product I have gotten from Utopia and have not been disappointed yet. My husband is trying to take this one to our cabin but I am holding strong.:)
The skillet is just a little over a 10 inch skillet. I love how the lid to the dutch oven is interchangeable and fits this skillet.
Note:
You do not want to wash cast iron with soap and water. Just rinse under warm water and it is clean. Just make sure you dry it as soon as you rinse it to prevent any rust.
Guys right now would make a great christmas gift. And for the price under 20 bucks it is well worth the price.
