I like where the safety guard is movable. I have 2 dogs so where I cut their nails are different. Most of the nail clippers I have bought do not have this feature, Good to have only 1 nail clipper now instead of 2 for each dog. The blade is a 3.5mm stainless steel blade and it comes with a nail file to smooth the nail out if you need to. You want to keep the blade locked while not in use. I have to put it up out of reach to stop my pups from chewing on it. They misbehave from time to time. They offer a lifetime guarantee but with the quality of the clippers they probably never have to replace them. One of my dogs my sheppard mix is always nervous to have her nails clipped. My vet had to have 3 people to clip her nails and it was such a chore that I thought it was doing more damage to her nerves to keep bringing her that I starting clipping her nails myself. She still thows a fit but not as bad. With these clippers they dont make that noise that it makes clipping her nails much easier. Highly recommend this product.
