I got this to help to make sure the meat is cooked through, The display is digital. Very easy to use and so far it shows correct temperature. No complaints except I wish the display is a little bigger for older peeps it makes it heard to read. It would be great if it came with a lighted display. Those are personal preferences Definitely worth the money. I got this product at a discounted rate in exchange to give an honest review
