I must say as soon as I opened the plastic the belt is wrapped it the smell was a bit overpowering. I washed the belt prior to trying it in warm soapy water and allowed it to air dry.After that I did not notice any type of smell. The belt is NOT cheaply made as a sewer myself I tend to notice whether stitching is even or not. Very good quality and those who wonder if the stitching is even.. It is. I have never used a waist trimmer before but this was quite comfortable. I do a lot of yoga, sit ups and zumba. The belt stayed in place and did create lines after a period of time. I wore the belt daily for 4 hours for a week. I can tell a slight difference in my waist. I feel that the longer I wear the belt , exercise and watch what I eat. The belt after a period of time will help my waist. I am 5 foot tall and am not over weight but am active and had no problem adjusting the belt to fit me. It stands true that it is a one size fit all. Belt looks just like the picture. I was a bit surprised that the belt made me notice my posture Nice surprise.
