I never have used silicone gloves before this product and I must admit it surprised me. I was a bit skeptical so I honestly got them to prove them wrong. Well, what a lesson I learned. Gloves are not bulky and they are comfortable. Feels the same as kinda of an oven mitt. I do a lot of canning and baking and I always find some way to burn myself. These gloves were created for people like me. Also, I sometimes think I can just pick up items from the oven with my bare hands. Stupid thing I know but I do it a lot. I tested the gloves like most people by holding a pot of boiling water and sticking my finger in the water while wearing the gloves. I felt a small amount of warmth but nothing to burn you. I am glad that I the change to use the gloves and show myself that I was wrong about them. I am really starting to love anything silicone including these gloves. Do yourself and your hands a favor and get the gloves listed. Well worth the money, I received this product at a discounted price for an honest unbias opinion
